Our cosy studio is well equipped with lots of lovely fabrics and props. And our female makeup artist and assistant are always on hand to help you with your outfits and advise you on the best colour choices and hairstyles, and to make your Boudoir photo shoot a fun, relaxed and pleasurable experience.

Emily’s post shoot interview with Andy.

We were lucky enough to get one of our customers to do a short interview with us when she came to collect her pictures.

I thought it would be lovely for people who are considering a boudoir photography session, but have doubts about doing it . Emily was very unsure whether she could do it, but was so glad she did it in the end :))

Our customers say:

“The shoot was very chilled but professional I felt very welcome and you really eased my anxiety on arrival. The whole team really helped make my day. I had such a job not to burst into tears whe I saw the final pictures… Its something that anyone who has self confidence issues should do because the boost is incredible…

Frequently Asked Questions:

Will there be female staff on the shoot? : Yes. The Hair Stylist/Makeup artist and the studio assistant are both female.

Are there private changing facilities available at the studio : Yes. We have a bathroom/changing area

I have never done anything like this before and am nervous: Most people that do this for the first time feel a bit nervous. It’s natural and we are used to it. We work in a very relaxed and fun environment. We play music and help you all the way along from choice of outfits to posing. We make sure we only emphasise the parts of your body that you want to show and hide those that you don’t.

Can I bring someone along with me? Of course! You’re more than welcome to bring someone with you to the shoot for moral support. (Don’t forget you also get a glass of bubbly :))

Is the photographer an experienced professional? Yes. Andy Whale has been a photographer all his working life. He has worked with clients such as The Royal Opera and photographed Darcey Bussell of Strictly fame for The Royal Ballet. He is a Fellow of The British Institute of Professional Photographers (The highest level attainable) and has over 300 Five Star Facebook reviews.

Andy’s Advice:

  • Don’t forget to paint your nails!
  • Bring plenty of accessories and jewellery.
  • Make sure you wear loose fitting clothing to avoid strap marks!
  • Bring a robe for between shoots.
  • You are welcome to bring a friend with you.
